BEST PRACTICE ON SETTING UP BUSINESS IN DEVELOPING COUNTRIES

New IFU handbook assists small and medium-sized companies in setting up business in developing countries, based on IFU's 50 years of experience.

IFU has published the handbook IFU’s best practice on setting up business in developing countries – a handbook for entrepreneurs.

The handbook is meant to serve as inspiration for mainly small and medium-sized Danish companies.

The five chapters focus on the initial start-up phase. and include organisation, local partner and team, infrastructure and supplies, risk reduction and mitigation and the economic aspects of operations.

The book does not prescribe a particular recipe; however it highlights hands-on areas, which – based on IFU’s long experience – might be difficult to navigate.

We hope you will find the handbook useful.
