The initial contact is when a company presents the business concept, and we make a very preliminary assessment of the commercial viability of the proposed investment.
Most companies only get in touch with IFU when they are well into the idea phase. At this point, the companies have already made some strategic considerations.
More often than not, the companies contacting IFU have become aware of new business opportunities through their own networks. For example, they may as subcontractors have been asked to establish an entity abroad in order to be able to sell their products to one of their customers. Alternatively, IFU may have presented them with a specific investment opportunity.
The initial contact is made when a company presents the business concept and a very preliminary assessment is made of the commercial viability of the proposed investment. At this point, IFU may also provide advice on the further steps the enterprise needs to take in order to proceed in partnership with IFU.
