The principles of IFU’s CSR policy
IFU has signed up to the 10 UN Global Compact principles, and we are committed to implementing and advancing these together with the project companies and within the Fund's sphere of influence. IFU’ policy is based upon international UN, ILO and OECD conventions, declarations and agreements, and we hereby seek to contribute to the global achievement of the UN Millennium Development Goals.
As a starting point the policy requires:
UN Global Compact
Our CSR policy and advice are based on the principles of the UN Global Compact. Global Compact includes 10 principles created to promote social commitment and responsibility. We encourage our project companies to follow the 10 principles. They simply and clearly point out the most important aspects of human rights, labour rights, environment and anti-corruption. They also emphasise the idea of continuous improvements.
