IFU leaves the project companyAfter typically five to seven years IFU will exit the project. The most common reason is that the loan has been paid back in full or that there is a clear and complete agreement between the parties on the value of the shares.
Normally the selling price for IFU’s shares will be the market value. As the shares are often in companies not listed on the Stock Exchange in the host country, it may take some time to reach a price that is acceptable to both IFU and the buyer, which in most cases is the Danish partner.
In cases where a project company experiences problems, and where a reconstruction may be necessary, IFU has a group of specialists to handle particularly complicated cases.
